Through the flames I stare in awe. My home is under martial law. Tears fill my eyes as I clench my jaw. Authority pushes past the last straw. The local school is bruised and charred. Looted by the poor and marred. I ask, where were the National Guard? When warfare rag


TreasureA treasure was unearthed today. Amongst a spectrum of decay. It shone with a holy light. That blinded the rich from a nation's plight. Into the cold, hard ground, the people cut. Forced to work by rifle butt. Polished and primed to hide the sin. In the marketplace, let the sale begin. A shining jewel for your close and dear. Just don't ask us how it got here. A diamond ring, sold by the financer. A girl's best friend is a country's cancer.Treasure
